On 17 Dec 2023 two of our MFC crew were acknowledged with
NSWFA Grand Prix Awards. Andrew Yip was awarded the Grand Prix Champion for achievement in Veteran men’s foil, due to his competition results across the year. Roy Carter was awarded Volunteer of the Year for outstanding contribution to the Association. Andrew and Roy both contribute so much to MFC in their formal roles – Andrew as secretary and coach, and Roy as armourer – and as positive and enthusiastic Club members and fencers, and it's great to see them being acknowledged by our State Sporting Association for their achievements. Well done Andrew and Roy!
