Huzzah! We smashed our fundraising goal!

We did it, and some! EnPointe Display Box here we come!

At the start of the end of year competition we still needed $260 to reach our fundraising goal. We finished the day with $455 raised!

A special thanks to Jo Williams for kindly donating those three FIE weapons for the raffle. While the generosity of so many members buying fundraising patches laid the foundation for our goal, it was the raffle that finally put us over the top. Congratulations to Harry, Zach and Taleah for being lucky to enough to have winning tickets. And thanks to all the members who joined in the fun and excitement and bought the patches and tickets that got us to our goal. It was a great team effort all around and everybody wins!

So what are we going to do with the extra money we raised? It's going to go towards buying another EnPointe Display Box just as soon as we can - we'll have more info about how you can help us towards that goal in the future. Having these scoring systems in the club is going vastly expand the amount of fencing we can have happening across all three fencing weapons, especially in competition settings. We want as many as we can get.

As if there wasn’t enough to look forward to at the Club already, we can all get excited about playing with our new toys when training recommences in the New Year! Huzzah!
