Confirmed: expanded fencing for 2021

Four pistes of fencers fencing epee and sabre in the wooden floored fencing hall! Hmm, where are the foilists? They must be out of shot. Anyway, some fencers are on wired and some on wireless scoring gear. On the piste closest to the back wall the Favero scoring box registers a touch for fencer right, lighting up a green light. On the piste closest to us, two smiling fencers with their masks off get ready to plug in their small individual relay boxes before beginning their bout.

It official! Additional fencing sessions are on for 2021 – we now have sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. More fencing for everyone! Huzzah!

Come to as many sessions as you want to – Club membership means you can come to every age-appropriate training session the Club runs. And the more the better! The more you train the better you’ll get. Plus you’re getting more fencing from the same membership fee.

Following on from interest shown in the Richard Emmerick Shield back in December, we'll be using some of this extra fencing time to focus on competitive performance - without of course decreasing regular Club training.

Details of the training groups and the focus of each training session across the week can be found here.

Evening training resumes Monday 18 Jan, Saturday training resumes 30 Jan.

See you Monday!

And Tuesday!

And Thursday!

And Saturday!

Huzzah!
