The Grex!

Shot from above, a table with a cutting mat on which are two white pieces of fabric, A4 in size, a cute yellow pincushion with pins in it, a pair of red handled sewing scissors and a small green handled pair of thread cutters. On one of the pieces of fabric is a cool bit of hand drawn text in orange saying Warning. The text has a hand drawn great epee threaded through it. These run landscape. Underneath, 2021 in grey text. On the other piece of fabric is a green goblin, underneath which is green text saying The Goblins, and underneath that is green text saying ‘we don’t take gold we take points.’ These are banners waiting to be sewn up for two teams in The Grex! The coolest comp for those in the know. Soz not soz if you’re not one of these.

Lots to do! Training will be resuming soon (stand by for updates), and if all goes well we'll be able to finish the year with round 3 of the Richard Emmerick Shield, plus the inaugural The Grex award! 

Sewing up a couple of team pennants to join the others in the Club, so if any teams in The Grex haven't designed their insignia yet, please draw something ace (to fit on A4) and email to alessandra at vicepresident@mountainsfencingclub.org.au so we can make your banner too!
